Ann & Justin ♥ Married at The Presidio, San Francisco ♥ Part One

Part One of Ann & Justin's wedding day - the prep and the ceremony. I was honored to be the photographer for another member of the Cordell family. Ann is the cousin of my friend Chelsea and in December 2009 Chelsea and I photographer her cousin Naomi. Sweet family!

It was a beautiful day in San Francisco for Ann & Justin's big day. San Francisco summer's are typically foggy but not this particular day. They chose a darling little chapel in the Presidio to unite has husband and wife. The entire ceremony was perfect and I was honored to be there. Thank you Ann and Justin for having me as your wedding photographer!

The ceremony was at Chapel of Our Lady at the Presidio. The inside of this chapel was very charming and full of character.

♥ I Love Lucy! ♥

One more new thing! I didn't forget her, just wanted a whole post just for her because she's so darn cute!!

New puppy! Her name is Lucy and she is the cutest thing ever. I just love her so much. Another new change that wasn't planned but so worth it. My niece brought home a puppy to help a friend find her a new home. I had no plans to adopt her when my sister text her about me but when I saw her and held her I feel in love and I think she did too. I've often heard pets choose their owners and I think in this case she sure did. She licked my face off practically and was snuggling up to me constantly. How could I say no to this precious little face?! Help me welcome Lucy!

Quick Update Busy, Busy, Busy!

First things first...there will be some new photos posted to the blog this weekend so stick around!

I've been slightly delayed in sharing with you Michelle & John's Part 2 of their sneak peek and sharing Ann & Justin's sneak peek from their July 3rd wedding in San Francisco and I apologize but it won't be much longer. So much has been going on behind the scenes and all good!

As you can see Shannon Purcell Photography now has a brand new look! This has actually been in the works for the past 6 months and I love the outcome. I hope you do too! Along with a new look will be a ton of other changes including new products and pricing. New pricing will start September 1, 2011. Announcement for the new products and pricing to come later but as I mentioned on Facebook Fan Page on July 19th in order to book your wedding date or family photo session at the current rates I must have your contract and deposit by August 31, 2011. Email me with any questions!

Other exciting news that is that I recently moved into a great new place! It wasn't planned to happen this month but it did and it was for the best! This place is a historical landmark and has so much charm. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. Hardwood floors, crown molding and the original stainless steel kitchen counter tops from when this place was built in 1949 (new matching stainless steel appliances!). I'm having a great time setting up and organizing my new office.

♥ Michelle & John Married in Oakland, CA ♥ Part One

I've been dying to share some photos from Michelle & John's wedding from June 25th but I'm still going through them so I've decided to do their sneak peek in two parts!

They had a beautiful ceremony with traditional Latin mass at St. Margaret Mary's Church and an elegant reception in the Terrace Room at the Lake Merritt Hotel. Devin and I were truly honored to be the wedding photographers for this gorgeous wedding. Michelle and John are such a sweet and adorable couple that radiate sincere love and faith.

For part one of their sneak peek I'll be sharing photos from the ceremony and photos at the church. Part two in a few days will be photos to show off the celebration of their union. Stay tuned and for now enjoy part one!

Michelle, John and family...it was such a pleasure to meet all of you and be a part of such a wonderful day. Thank you so much for having us! I wish many beautiful moments throughout your years together.
