Brides, with all the time you spend planning and organizing the details of your wedding from your dress to the linens, flowers, hair and make-up there is one extremely important detail you must not forget and it's a detail you can enlist your bridesmaids to help with. A wedding day emergency kit. A big big wedding day must have!
The top 10 Items Every BRIDE Needs on her Wedding Day:
- Sewing kit
- Bobby pins
- Q-tips and eye-makeup remover for touch-ups throughout the day/evening.
- Lint Remover
- Clear Nail Polish (great for a pantyhose snag...but then you should have an extra pair of those too)
- Flats or flip flops for the end of the night (Trust me! Your feet will thank you.)
- Charged cell phone
- Deodorant (only the kind that goes on clear)
- Hairspray
- Lip stain rather than lipstick (it lasts longer)
Of course, the essentials really can't be narrowed down to just 10 things. Other great items to have are double-sided fashion tape, Shout Wipes or a Tide-to-Go pen, breathe mints, nail file, tissues, aspirin, etc. The list could go on and on. You could do a Google search and find all kinds of lists and things to include in your emergency wedding day kit. And here's a very important tip to prepare for your big day...wear your wedding shoes several times before the wedding day to get them a bit worn in and comfortable for you feet. Blisters are the last things your pretty little feet will want that day! Just wearing them around the house should do it so that you don't scuff them up.
