As I continue to go through the photos I took and edit I continually come across more and more I love so I thought I'd share a second sneak peek before I finish them up and post them in the gallery on my website Shannon Purcell Photography.

Destiny: San Francisco Bay Area Photographer

Saturday, August 22, 2009 I had the pleasure of assisting in photographing the wedding of Kristina & Eliot.

Two people who were clearly in love and destined for each other. Every detail of the wedding was beautiful and perfectly executed; though, not as perfect as the two of them together.

I truly wish a lifetime of happiness to them! Here is a sneak peak of the moments and details I was able to capture for them.

My First Wedding!: Bay Area Photographer

Saturday, August 8th, I had the pleasure of second shooting a wedding and had an amazing experience. By the end my feet were sore, my hand was weak from holding the camera all day but it was so worth it.

Working with Kristy, the primary photographer, and her husband, Max, also second shooting was wonderful and I am so grateful for the opportunity to work with them. Of course, the couple who's special day it we were creatively documenting were a joy to photograph. The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was fun and full of so much love that anyone there just could not help but feel truly happy for them.

I'd like to share a few moments I caught during that exciting day.

Marin County Photographer: Stunning Photos

On Thursday I finished my second photography class through the Novato Park and Rec. The instructor is a professional photographer, Lynnette Joy Photography and so much fun to learn from. We'll be keeping in touch and doing photography. In fact, next month we are planning a fun photo shoot of my husband and I in San Francisco. I will be in my wedding dress (again) and hubby will be all spiffed up in a suit. A few girls from the class we just finished will also be there to take photos so not only will hubby and I be models but there will be a lot of fun learning going on. Being on the other side of the camera will help me with learning posing and direction since I now have TWO, that's right TWO weddings scheduled as the main photographer this year. So exciting!

Here are some photos I took during this 4 week photography course:

This is Nicole (also a student of the class) and her husband at the Legion of Honor in San Francisco where we took our class field trip. They were incredible to photograph!

This is one of their children who has an adorable nickname, Jewel. She was a little model for our second class. She was so good letting us photograph her for 2 hours!

Additional photos taken through out the course of the class...
