In the world of Shannon Purcell Photography things have been going very well. I'm booking sessions and getting referrals and am very excited about it all!
In the month of June I had two beach photography sessions. Each session was at Bolinas Beach in the Point Reyes area of California. There are so many photo opportunities at Bolinas that I'm certain I will continue to use it as one of my main beach photo session spots.

I'm also excited to say that I'm doing everything I can to learn more about the technicalities of my camera, photography and the creative possibilities of it all! In May I took a four week photography class that really taught how to better use my camera. July 9th I will be starting another photography course called "How to Take Stunning Photos" and I am really looking forward to it.
In addition, I have the wonderful opportunity to assist an extremely talented photographer with a couple of weddings in August. Working with her at those two weddings I am certain will be soem of the best learning I could possibly get to prepare me for my first wedding shoot in October.
I have two shoots to do this month, one of which is another Engagement photo session. I am very grateful for all of the opportunities that have come my way since I decided to kick things up a few notches and really pursue photography as more than just a hobby.
